Dinesh Govindarao, MD, MPH
Vice President, Division 1, Term 2024-2028
Dinesh Govindarao represents Division 1, which includes a large portion of San Ramon's Dougherty Valley, on the DSRSD Board of Directors.
He was appointed by the Board on February 7, 2023, to fill a vacant seat. Director Govindarao is a longtime San Ramon resident and attended California High School. He serves as Chief Medical Officer for a large state agency, and he also has a master’s degree in public health and a bachelor’s degree in genetics with a minor in business. He is a board member for the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation and an alternate member on the City of San Ramon Library Advisory Committee.
